ADAS stands for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems. It refers to a set of technologies designed to enhance vehicle safety and improve the driving experience. ADAS uses a combination of sensors (such as cameras, radar, and LiDAR) and software to provide features like collision avoidance, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and parking assistance.

Some common examples of ADAS features include:

  1. Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – Alerts the driver if the car is unintentionally drifting out of its lane.
  2. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – Adjusts the vehicle’s speed to maintain a safe distance from the car ahead.
  3. Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – Automatically applies the brakes to prevent or reduce the severity of a collision.
  4. Blind Spot Detection – Alerts the driver if there’s a vehicle in the blind spot when changing lanes.
  5. Parking Assistance – Helps the driver park the vehicle by providing guidance or even taking over the steering.

ADAS is a key technology that is often seen as a precursor to fully autonomous driving.

As vehicle manufacturers continue to limit aftermarket options for coding new modules, we consistently invest in the necessary OEM tools to meet these requirements. Once the module is fitted, we will perform any necessary calibration and provide detailed reports. Simply inform us when the module is being installed.

Our mobile service for body shops is generally available on the same day or the following day.
